Tour Overview

Travel from Wellington through the Hutt Valley, with views of Lord of the Rings filming sites along the way, before crossing the Remutaka Mountain Range on a 20 minute drive into the rural countryside leading to Martinborough.

This fully escorted Martinborough wine tour includes tastings at three award winning boutique wineries, giving you a chance to sample a range of local wines in the region itself. One of the key stops is Wine tasting and lunch, where tastings are paired with a gourmet lunch platter at a boutique winery. The lunch platter is not included in the tour price.

The day also includes a stop for Wine Tasting at a local craft beer brewery, offering a change of pace between winery visits. If you prefer, the brewery stop can be replaced with a fourth winery on request. Another stop, Wine tasting, takes you to C'est Cheese, a speciality cheese shop known for its wide range of cheeses.

With escorted transport throughout the day, this tour combines the drive over the Remutaka Mountain Range, Martinborough winery tastings, local beer, and artisan cheese into a relaxed food and drink outing from Wellington.
