Capital Bites, A food tour of Wellington

See Wellington through local eyes on this guided food walking tour through the city centre. The route takes in Cuba Street, the Wellington waterfront and Lambton Quay, with time to wander through the capital’s lanes and streets at a relaxed pace.

Along the way, you’ll sample a range of local favourites, including coffee, chocolate, craft beer, charcuterie and cheese. The tour also visits a second generation owned restaurant and a waterfront eatery with a special purpose, giving you a grounded look at the places that shape Wellington’s food scene. There may even be a chance to weigh in on the question of where to find the best cheese scone.
